Does not accommodate window seating anytime before dinner, unless friends of employees. 3/13 2:30pm, less than a quarter of capacity. Walked in, saw a group sitting at the windows. Requested to be seated at the windows as well. Rejected. Told we were allowed only to sit at the bar or stand at the high tables. Employees ignored inquiries as to how a group was seated at windows with food/drinks but instead restated we were only allowed to sit at the bar or stand at high tables. Braught my date for the view and good reviews. Left feeling rejected and embaressed.

Excellent bar, spirits, cocktails, beer, wine, and nice bubbly selection. Great service as well and best happy hour in town!

Every time we come to Monterey, we come to the C restaurant. It is always a great meal The food is great. The view is fantastic. They usually have live music. An enjoyable experience every time

Late night arrival in drizzly Monterey. Luis the bartender was friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced and good selection of California wine. The jazz musician was the best we've heard in ages. I forgot I was a tourist in a super touristy area.

One of the ten best dining views in Monterey. Surf rolls gently across the rocks underneath you. Generally no problem getting a primo spot. Service attentive, prices hefty but reasonable. Hard to beat on a nice day. Often overlooked because it is a hotel restaurant.
