Make a reservation to celebrate an anniversary here was a very bad idea. I made my reservation 1 day before and even called 3 hrs before my reservation to modify it. I came right on time and checked in. I waited for the other 2 parties that were there before me to be sat. When it was our turn I was given NOT a window table as I had requested especially on our anniversary. I told the hostess I requested a window table and she told me to wait there. She came back and told me I had to wait 30 minutes for a window table. Really? I didn't even see a hostess doing a table check before she gave me that estimated time. We decided to stay at that table and about 2 minutes later (because our waitress hadn't even greeted us yet) a nice window table broke! The hostess need more training or supervision because they are NOT doing their job! They didn't even try to fix their mistake and that table got set up again and was given to another couple. At that point I couldn't stay there anymore. As a courtesy I didn't touch the drink I ordered and notified my waitress we were leaving. Not going Chart House ever again. PS. I went to the Chart House in Pier 39 in San Francisco to celebrate my birthday and for being a party of 6 they treated us very nice and got a window table.

Coming from Vegas, we are used to good meals that are competitively priced. Cannery Row is a tourist area and we came here due to the good review. Service was great. The view was great. The price for the wine by the glass was excellent. The dishes have room to improve. My wife went for the grilled fish. The portion was on the small side and lacking in flavor. I ordered maize shrimp & scallop. It was too creamy and rich for my taste. I do give them credit for offering sustainably harvested seafood though.

It is a very nice place on the water, beautiful! The bar area is crowded and you always have to move out of the wait staffs way. I guess the bar is just located in a bad spot. Some food was great, some excellent, some meh... It could have been my mood and we ate dinner so early no one was that hungry, the food was good! Salad bar definitely rocks! You must try the chocolate lava cake, order it before dinner because it takes time to prepare, yummy!

Amazing restaurant! Service, food, ambiance and our server Warren made the biggest difference than other classy restaurants. I will definitely go back and ask for Warren as our server. Made a lifelong customer out of me for sure!

Stopped in for happy hour. We had a couple of cocktails, fish tacos, and mini potatoe skins. Fish tacos were fresh and fantastic! The potatoe skins were actually fingerling potatoes cut in half with cheeses, bacon, & drizzled with olive oil, with a sour cream and chive dip on the side. Another great happy hour treat! Will be going again for sure.
