Great little breakfast joint. I go here for the sourdough pancakes get the 49! Ask for your eggs one step further done. Food arrives astonishingly quickly. Bring cash, charge for card and need a PIN number. Great value and super friendly service 😊

I loved our visit. Had my kids with me and they liked it too. Gravy needed salt for my tastes but the bacon was the star of this show. Good food, nice people.

Very good simple basic breakfast and service. Good coffee. If you’re looking for that sprig of parsley or slice of orange you won’t get it here.

I spontaneously decided to try this place when I was nextdoor at Quality Vapes because I saw "home of the diesel burger" out front. Atmosphere: Pretty basic decor and paint scheme. Nothing fancy but let's face it: we're here for the food! Service: Excellent! I was greeted upon entry, sat immediately, and the servers (not just my server) were all attentive throughout my visit. Food arrived way before I figured it would. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. This was while tables were approximately half occupied. Cleanliness: So each table has a whole bunch of different condiments on them; I was very surprised to see that every bottle there was clear of dripping and each lid was clean and didn't have old dried up stuff on them. The servers appeared clean. Didn't get a chance to see the bathroom but I noticed the servers were constantly cleaning during down time. Taste and presentation: Given the "home of the diesel burger," it was a pretty standard half pound burger. It wasn't by any means bad, but nothing worthy of giving it a specific name like "diesel." The burger toppings were stacked on the side so I could decide what to put on it and there was a medium serving of fries. All were cooked well and had good flavor, but in my opinion was nothing special. Value: The half pound diesel burger, serving of fries and a water came out to just under $10, less tip. I also left the restaurant full. I would say it was worth the money given the speed of the good service I received. Also, I would recommend bringing cash because they use an ATM if you pay with a card and it'll cost you a little extra. All in all, Sundowner Cafe was a nice experience but I think maybe just a one time visit for me.

Old School 5 Star. Visited on a recommendation from a local which speaks for itself. Eat where the locals eat- you can never go wrong.
