We were in town and craving Mexican (as always) and decided on this place— I am glad we did! The portions were VERY generous, I got a combo of a burrito and enchilada and both were delicious, and I took about half home (gladly). The price is awesome as well. Giselle, our server, was friendly and helpful in helping our hungry indecisiveness. I also like it is family owned and operated and they have their homemade recipes on the menu. We will be back when we visit Monterey again!

I was going to rate this place three stars, but have only myself to blame for ordering a non-mexican suggestion from the server; Jambalaya. The chicken, shrimp, veggies and rice were great. Sadly, the "sausage" was sliced hot dog. While technically a sausage I think our friends from New Orleans would be appalled. La Bahia gets the mulligan and four stars because I have eaten there many times before. It's good, reasonably priced and a mound of food. Hint, stick to the Mexican food. On the plus side I'm guessing you can order a hot dog on the kid's menu.

Got catered food for a party at my house. They were so helpful and the food was a hit! We had a taco bar with all the fixings, rice and beans, chip and salsa, homemade churros and the price was very reasonable. I’d recommend them if you need some party food! Thanks Jesus!

La Bahia is great! First place I ate at when I got to the area and everytime I go they do not disappoint, the atmosphere and food is genuine. There attention to detail is evident in their food and decor, and this makes La Bahia a weekly stop I look forward to.

Taco Wednesday. 7 delicious varieties of tacos for $1 each and a beer of the day for $2.50. Is there a better deal?
