Queen's house is a small hole in the wall place on Castro Street. They have a large selection of noodles and entrees they also have a lunch special Monday through Friday and specialize in noodle dishes. Queen's house always seems to be crowded during lunch time a favorite place for many people in the area to get food at lunch time. I have not checked the hours lately but they used to be closed Tuesday's only. Last time I was there I had the combination wonton soup and general chicken lunch special it was very good. I have been going there a few times a year for at least a decade now probably longer.

Prices have gone up to about $10 per dish, while the food is still mediocre. They claim that they've increased prices to keep up with increasing costs in the area while maintaining quality. Well, the quality wasn't that mind-blowing. The beef noodle soup was quite oily and heart burn inducing. However, at least they gave some pretty big hunks of beef (tendon, etc). The pork over rice was pretty good, but not worth the cost. The environment is pretty shoddy and no-frills. Not worth the prices on the menu, and I probably won't be back. There are definitely better places farther South, but I guess you have to foot the costs for being in the Castro when eating at Queen House.

Fairly child friendly, and they have high chairs. Their scallion pancake is the best in the area! You can order milk tea from the related TeaEra next door.

Ordered the classic Taiwanese style fried salty popcorn chicken chips and some other Taiwanese dish, very delicious, cozy place, and we found out we can order bubble tea from next door but directly send to our table here inside the restaurant, cool. Their Taiwanese style cooking suit our taste buds well. Recommend.

Visited the place after a long time. The menu had improved. The combo meal was great with bouncy fishballs and fragrant stewed pork. I'll visit again.
