Not the friendliest place, I love sushi and for the location and price I was not super impressed. It was good but definitely not amazing. When I spend that kind of money I expect amazing or at least really good. If you are looking for a foodie experience this is probably not the place.

The Chef's dinner was fantastic. 15 pieces of sashimi with salad, soup and a bowl of rice. Really good. The sake was good as well. I felt the prices were reasonable and not over priced. I would definitely return again.

Our waitress Nini was rude to not just me, but everyone at our table. One our our guests asked if anything else was great besides sushi. Nini first began with an epic eye roll before telling her "ya, turn the page" The experience was terrible and a total waste of a night on our trip for my wife's birthday. The sushi was great, but I've had better service for much less. In this price point we really expected it to be fantastic. She was only concerned about our happiness when it came time to tip (which we did) The manager did try and help as we were leaving but it was too little, too late. I get that everyone can have a bad day and we have no idea what else is going on in our waitresses life, but we hope she found some comfort for herself by ruining our evening. We did visit other both touristy and local spots (Papa Joe's pizza, Jefferson Cafe, and the Squeeze Inn) that were both fantastic and friendly. As soon as she was rude the first time before we could even order a drink we should have gotten up and left, but it was my wife's birthday and it was her pick that evening. I blame myself for not trusting my instincts and bolting from the table immediately when I got a bad vibe from the server.

Service is too bad. Good music, beautiful place, good food as well. But the waiters is not ok. April, I think it her name, she works in the bar, she is so bad! I was so excited to come, my wedding anniversary, something casual, but important to me and my wife. Terrible experience.
