The Restaurant: Fairly pricey but you are here for dinner before the show. The food is not bad, the fish can be fresher but overall decent. The service was really good. Friendly, efficient. The best part about having dinner here is you get priority assigned seats. With that said, you must come to dinner earlier since you will get better seatings. The Music Venue: Very cool stage, great intimate atmosphere. Contrary to what others say there are bad seats in the house if you are way off to one side. You would want to be in the middle even if you are further back. The seats are comfortable but quite packed.

Love the Oakland site better than the SF. It is more intimate and there’s nothing like hearing the train go by during the performances. If you don’t feel up for sushi, you can get your hand stamped and dine elsewhere beforehand. Parking gets validated. It is my favorite jazz venue—so intimate. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house. Highly recommend!

Surprised by how good the food is. Perfect place to have dinner before the show. The theater is intimate and acoustically nice.

Bilal performance was fabulous! The food and service was great. Although there was a power outage near the end of the performance nd throughout the building, Yoshis staff quickly got everything up and running. 👊💕
