Great location in Downtown Oakland for a weekend breakfast/brunch. The food has great flavor and is scrumptious. Friendly, but easy going staff. If you're staying in an around the Fox theater, this is a must go for breakfast.

Great local diner. Went on a busy evening so service was slow but the food was surprisingly good. Breakfast is served all day so I had the breakfast burrito with black beans on the side with salsa. The place is clean. Great/friendly servers, who were came around yo check on you but not too much. Bathroom, not clean (to my standards) but I didn't come here for the bathrooms. Prices are decent. Overall it was great and I would come back.

My kind of spot for diner food & hours. The food is diner style so it isn't going to make my "you gotta try" it list, but they do have vegan options. My new breakfast place.

Plenty of vegetarian and vegan options - and not just salads! Appreciate the diversity of the menu. Food was very fresh. Love that I can bring my dog onto the patio. Good tunes also! Fun, hip, fresh.

I love this place! While they have recently whittled down the menu, many of the old items are still available upon request. Portions are generous, service is speedy, and the downtown location, unlike the one at Emeryville, has a full bar, which allows them to offer some really tasty cocktails and boozy milkshakes/coffee drinks. Definitely A#1 for hangover brunch, and their daily specials are fantastic! (No, really, try the meatloaf.)
