The fire cracked shrimp was good but that was it. For a restaurant on the ocean, called the beach house, the seafood choice was limited. The first 2 items on the menu were a hamburger and meatloaf. We ordered steak and prawns. These shrimp were small, definitely not prawns. The steak had no flavor what so ever. The cocktail menu was also very limited. However, the wine list was extensive for someone who likes wine. Our service also wasn't the best. Our waitress never came back with refills or asked if we wanted more from the bar. She also had to come back twice to ask about our order because she kept forgetting what we wanted. I would not recommend this place, it was pricey for the quality. We left disappointed!

4 of us caught the early menu and were Not disappointed! The Shepard's Pie is amazing. Though it is huge we were so glad to take some home with us. Wonderful service also. Thank You to All!! We returned a couple of days later for a light dinner of soup, appetizers and tasty cocktails. We have recommended you already to friends

I came here for dinner and had a great time. The food is pretty solid and they have a good beer/cocktail menu. Perhaps my favorite part is the view of the bay! This is a great place to have a meal and take in the views of nature. The Beach House is a worthwhile stop if you're ever in the Monterey area.

Great little spot in Pacific Grove where many of the local families frequent. Great views of the bay from majority of the tables. Busy place, reservations may be a good idea and can be done online via their website. Food was delicious with a good selection of wines.

After finally getting a server to start us out, things went much better. We came for my uncles birthday and were able to get the special menu since the festival on the street delayed us. The food is really good and the happy hour menu is a great break in pricing. Here's the rundown: - The bread was nice and warm, with a side of soft butter that was easy to spread. - I had the pesto pasta with chicken which was amazingly creamy and perfectly made. - The margarita was made pretty well and quickly with a good balance of ingredients (that's rare!) - Their desserts were great. We had the creme brulee, cheesecake and key lime pie. All made well in their respective lane. I don't live in town anymore but my family tells me one of the best servers is Christina, so hopefully I'll experience her next time so I can boost this to a five star!
