Worst Italian Food EVER ! There is Nothing Authentic about the hole. Cute setting, cool building, near water, that's it. This was hands down the worst Italian restaurant I have ever experienced. A few at our table were vegetarian and the establishment would not change a thing to accommodate. I ordered a roasted beet salad, the beets were right out of the package, not fresh and not roasted at all. I love Italian homemade pasta, didn't want an entire meal, so forget it, you can not get a side of pasta?! I've never been to an Italian restaurant that did not serve sides. All homemade pasta dishes are served with meat, no substitutes. Period. I asked for simple olive oil and garlic, my pasta sauce (olive oil?)had an odd texture and tasted like fish. No one at the table would eat it. Shrimp skewers were dried out and tiny. All dishes were mediocre at best. I have never left an Italian restaurant hungry, this was a first. Does your Italian Grandma ever let you leave hungry, that's unheard of and an embarrassment to Italians everywhere. Disgraceful. Staff was unfriendly, but at least the owner was rude too. Any questions asked were a huge inconvenience. This was a $300 meal! Oh yea, we could only put 1/2 of bill on credit cards, rest was cash. Party of 6, they add in tip, so service is allowed to be lousy. wth... Only redeeming part was the wine. Don't waste your time or money here.

The food was delicious. Our waitress was also amazing and friendly. The wait was a bit long even though I called to make the reservation way ahead of time. I enjoyed dining here with some friends because everyone loved what they ordered. Like some others, I definitely butchered some items on the menu by pronouncing it wrong...

Decorations tiring, not creative at all. Reminds me of New York back 30 years ago when it would have been trendy. Food disappointing, especially costing more than $20 per dish. Better Italian foods at chain stores, unfortunately. You pay for the atmosphere, definitely not the food. My guess is that the restaurant survived because at trendy downtown where people willing to spend the money because they are traveling to new place. Not impressed.

The food we got was awful. The meatballs were dry and the shrimp was bland. The pasta was half cooked and to top it off the owner was there catering to some friends. The dude was yelling at his staff the whole time and then made us leave because he didn't like that my 11 month year old son was because vocal. (he wasn't crying just making baby noises every now and then) while there were other babies present in the restaurant AND the people around us were swearing up storms. I wouldn't have been bothered by him making us leave if it were for a reasonable cause and the fact that once I walked outside I saw that my wife was crying. It was very unprofessional and rude. You are honestly going to get better food and treatment at Olive Garden.

We had reservations and still had to wait an hr and a half. Granted we were a party of 13-we had planned ahead and made reservations. Having worked as both a hostess and server, I know what it takes to ensure there is seating avalible to customers with reservations. Mind you, there is a 100$ cancelation fee if you decide to cancel your reservation. In my opinion that is too high of a price to pay when you still have to stand outside for an hr and a half. The food was okay and once seated its fair to say we were taken care of. Unfortunately, I cant say the entire experience was worth the costs of the meals.
