I'm local, and my family has been here several times and has been treated poorly on more than one occasion. We decided to give it a shot again for a small 4 person birthday celebration, and will never go back. We were told there were no tables available, but we were more than welcome to sit at the bar, which we did. After a good fifteen plus minutes of being completely ignored the one lady working came and told us, in summary, that we could sit there as long as we wanted but it's "going to be longer than you think" and that she wouldn't be taking any of our orders until the other few tables were served in the rudest manner possible. We were shocked and left immediately, and had a wonderful dinner across the street at Fandangos, with prompt service and lovely food. Will never go back to Takara, despite it being a convenient local option.

Ordered udon and sukiyaki, both dishes were over cooked and flavor wasn't good either. I guess I should learn this lesson and avoid the Japanese restaurant where the area is full of Italian and French food.

Stingy portions, poor service and overpriced. Wish we would have gone somewhere else.
