Delicious food. Get the fried green tomatoes appetizer, trust me! The French onion soup is delicious, and the Ratatouille was a superb dish that was healthy to boot! It can be a bit noisy in there, but it's a lively ambience. The wait staff was great. We'll definitely be going back on our next visit to Placerville.

I ate a seafood pasta w/veggies at dinner hour. Expecting great food & was very disappointed. Hardly any seafood, nearly all pasta. The flavor was bland for about $25. It was extra ordinarily noisy & took about an hour + to get the food. Just an awful experience & food. The interior is very nice, warm & inviting. I just can't recommend it. I was told this restaurant was the best in town.... a very far cry from that. We have great food/restaurants here but this just isn't one of those places. My friend had fish (salmon?) & said it wasn't very good either.

Fifth time there. Wife has Celiac and we again had a wonderful experience. Large gluten free menu. Food was great and our waitress (I didn't get her name) was outstanding. Highly recommended.

My oldest son picked Bricks for his birthday dinner with mom, & WOW what a surprise! (Come early or come after seven PM as this quaint small place is packed, especially on the weekends! They don't accept reservations, but it doesn't hurt to alert them, especially if you go with a large group.) The food is fresh & absolutely delicious, not to mention great service!!! We both had salad; he had the Chicken Cobb & I had the Spinich w/strawberries. My son gave them the greatest compliment by stating "This is the best salad I've ever had"! (I also had to agree about mine too!!) That says a lot since they were salads!! (Next time I would like to try the Calamari!!)

Outstanding food and libations! Brick's has a simple menu of American comfort foods, but elevated and refined. Clearly Brick's has a very good chef. Check out the large selection of craft beers on tap. The staff members are likeable and genuinely friendly. Be sure and try one of their signature cocktails. The Pear Martini is love at first sip 🍸❤ The locals round out the atmosphere at Bricks with laughs and enjoyable conversation. Did I mention the food is excellent? An immensely enjoyable way to spend an evening.
