Definitely better than any other breakfast place around. I am from Texas and the Original Pancake house there is way better. The crepes here were literally just thin pancakes here. I had to ask for the fresh strawberries instead of a jam that is apparently served normally with the French crepes. The kids menu is great! My kids loved the bear face pancakes and I am grateful for pancakes that don't come with chocolate, whipped cream, and powdered sugar.

Tasty food in a somewhat run down atmosphere. My wife, son and I went here because we were in town and are familiar with Original Pancake House in Dallas (one of my wife's favorites). We were a little taken aback by the shabby conditions of the restaurant and the fairly amateur wait staff. The food was decent, but not great. I had the sourdough flapjacks which were novel, but not really flapjacks. My wife loves the 49er equivalent, and they were still great. Unfortunately though we ordered the special berries and cream, we only got a fruit bowl. My son loves it, but he'll eat anything with sugar.

Nice place to have a traditional breakfast. They have LOTS of different kinds of pancakes to choose from. I'm not a huge pancake fan, but even I think they are good. I go there for the omelettes. My favorite is the bacon and white cheddar omelette. The omelettes are also big. You will not go away hungry. Fruit crepes are also tasty.

They got it right eventually. The kitchen isn't doing the servers any favors. "Extra crisp bacon" isn't that hard to do.

There was a pretty hefty wait for seating. Luckily I was meeting a friend so she was already seated. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was fast, hot, and tasty. I'll definitely go back!
