Really great all American establishment. By all american what I really mean is that their pepperoni pizza captures what one would imagine what a quality American pizza to be. They're leagues above any franchised chain and offer a great variety of other food and combinations of pizza. The salads are a bit lack luster but hey its a pizza joint. This is one of those places that just remind you of the good times back in the day when mom and pop pizza joints, arcades, and mini golf were popular.

It breaks my heart to give this landmark pizza joint 2 stars. I have too many great memories here from childhood to grandchildren. Last night we decided to treat ourselves to pizza. All we wanted was a good large pepperoni pizza! Well let's just say what was given to us was horrible !! The amount of grease, it was stomach turning! Needless to say, its a sign of using cheap cheap products from the cheese to the pepperoni. I just don't write 2 star reviews, unless Ive talked to manager to express my displeasure. The response made me write the review. Sorry I wish I took a photo!

We came here on a Monday night, so it wasn't at all busy. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered a medium Jeff's Special. The onions were sweet and I loved the sausage - really flavorful. The pizza is REALLY cheesey, which is almost unfortunate because the sauce is so good! Next time I might ask for some sauce on the side for dipping :)

Fabulous pizza. Friendly staff. My family ate outside under the lattice in front of the mural of the dancing ladies. Large party. The waiter sported a fun mustache and a friendly demeanor. The food was outstanding. The salad was crisp. The decor was classic. Wonderful vibe. Enjoyed a Pitcher of beer. This place has been here for a long time. Members of my family have eaten here, many many years before, but this was my first time. My mother in-law assures me everything tastes the same as it did decades ago. Highly recommend.

I've been to Gay Nineties many times over the past 10 years and have always been delighted with the pizza. The crust and sauce are very tasty and come with plenty of toppings. This most recent visit was with coworkers and they all remarked at how good the food was. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Fun place to sit outside, as well.
