Unfortunately, my group had an incredibly poor experience here. My group was travelling on business, and decided to come here for a nice dinner. The average age of our group would be around 25 and we seemed to be discredited for this reason. The food took quite a while to come out, and despite having finished our waters within minutes of arriving, none of our waters were ever refilled. Furthermore, I ordered my $55 steak medium rare, and it arrived Medium Well+. They quickly offered to make me a new steak, which I accepted. The steak that then arrived was very much Blue/rare. They then thru it back on the grill and got me to the medium rare I had initially ordered. From there, they made multiple mistakes on our bills, including charging us for the piece of cake they brought out for our birthday boy. As a note, there was no compensation/discount despite very incorrectly cooking my steak twice. From the moment we first got our bill, to being able to actually pay took just over 30minutes. We had every reason to believe we were in for a quality Steakhouse, and while I imagine many people enjoy their visit, ours was a particularly poor experience.

Fantastic steaks and wine. Clearly pricey but you get what you pay for here. I recommend sitting by the bar as the menu is a tad cheaper

Went last night and received really poor service. We were there for about 2 hours and didn't get our water refilled a single time. Paying the bills took about half an hour as they split the bills up incorrectly twice. The first time they brought out a steak it was overcooked. The second time it was extremely undercooked. Overall the food was nice, but the service left a lot to be desired and I expected a lot more.

Awesome traditional steak restaurant in a beautiful setting. We always visit before Christmas in the Park or other downtown SJ events. Impeccable service, great wine list, and the menu is packed with great dishes. My favorites are the Filet Medallions in Roquefort Sauce and the beef short ribs which are so tender they fall apart with a poke of the fork. My wife loves the John Dory fish dish. Also the key lime pie for dessert is totally on point.

Food and service top notch. Worth a visit if you're in town.
