Always a fun environment coming here for birthday celebrations! Lunch service sometimes run slower with the limited chefs on hand. Food was delicious and not as expensive as other places. Will definitely return when the family craves for more sushi!

Had a terrible experience with the owner. He was incredibly rude and was yelling when we tried to pay our bill with Visa gift cards. He insisted that they were no good when he hadn't even run them through his machine properly. He insisted that because they had "Gift Card" printed on them they wouldn't work because they only accepted Shogun "gift cards" if you can imagine that! Then he actually grabbed my Home Depot credit card out of my open wallet and ran off with it thinking it was a card he could use! Long story short, it boiled down to a huge communication gap with the owner who was obviously having a bad night. He accepted the gift cards, but then stormed off telling us not to come back! Our waitress apologized & assured us it was just the language barrier and that they'd love to see us back again. I've never been so embarrassed and frustrated, and awhile the food is always good, we will be considering if we need that kind of treatment again.

The food was delicious. Our Chief was amazing and the waiter was very attentive The reason for the four stars instead of five was because the hostess who seated us was dressed completely inappropriately. She had on 90's ripped jeans and a jean jacket. I thought she was a high school student who lost her way to the bathroom. Lol!!!!

First time here. Ordered some gyoza, both chicken & shrimp fried rice. The food we ordered was pretty good compared to the Katsu restaurant. We didn't mind sesame seeds in fried rice. The food portion was good. My only complaint is the unfriendly goatee rude guy, who took forever to attend us. We never went back inspite of good food.
