A chain of two pub-restaurants, one located in Santa Ana and the other in Fullerton. Mostly good English pub faire including pot pies and several good desserts. Entrees range from about $13 and up. Dinners included a pile of mashed potatoes and a mix of peas and cut carrots. Appetizers and desserts are worth trying. The hot or cold custard is just swell. Nice atmosphere at the Santa Ana location which works well with the wide array of tap and bottled beers and ales. The ship theme is just right. Can get busy on St. Patrick's day and other holidays but otherwise seating is not a problem. Staff are nice and know the food and drink and can recommend a meal or beverage.

Six of us went to Ye Olde Ship for my sister's birthday. Everyone ordered something different, and everyone liked what they ordered. The Scotch egg and sausage rolls were good, and the cottage pie and Salisbury steak went very quickly. The sticky toffee pudding was really good and definitely worth saving room for. It's not somewhere to go if you have time constraints. But if you aren't too busy, save your calories and your cash and come enjoy!

This is one of my favorite places to eat, and they have a pretty good happy hour too. It's one of the few places that is an actual English or Irish pub and not just a TGIF that serves Guinness on draught and puts a bunch of stuff on the walls so they can call them selves a pub. They have great pies, my favorite is the steak and ale, but at lunch they have a great deal on cottage pie (basically Shepard's pie with beef instead of lamb). They also carry quite a few different seafood options and some curries as well... there is something for everyone. The only thing I haven't personally tried is brunch, but it looks really good. English breakfast is generally a pretty unique experience.

This is my home away from home. Authentic, traditional British food. Best time to come is right when they open. I always get the pasty and a pint of Boddingtons but all their food is good and the wait staff is so nice. Totally worth the price. And a great atmosphere. Place can get jam packed, especially if music or soccer is going on.

This is a British pub with traditional food. Count on soccer matches on TV and soccer crowds. A great experience. I highly recommend this place.
