This place is seriously delicious!!! We came here to try to Brussels sprouts, which were AMAZING. I've never had Brussels sprouts like this before, and my boyfriend usually refuses to eat them, but he literally loved these. Their Baked Macaroni and Cheese was so scrumptious, and their French fries were also absolutely delicious. We also had the Misfit Burger, Medium Rare, and it was so perfect, and even comes with an (optional) egg on top. The whole ambiance of this place is excellent, it has dim lighting, pretty mirrors, books lining the walls, and other really nice, comfortable decoration. Love this place!!

Great place, awesome atmosphere and interesting menu! Although it is big on drinks I didn't choose anything alcoholic instead the hot mint tea straight from an Oregon forest was very inspiring.. as those beautiful vegetarian options from which I had the sweet roasted potatoes and the vegan burger. Absolutely satisfying, full of taste, the vegan bread was a revelation, awesome avocado and cashews' cheese, black beans patties, sounds simple but it was truly tasty. Staff was kind, friendly and welcoming, my waitress in particular, a really beautiful supermodel-looking-like girl, was absolutely the best, thank you! :) See you next time Misfit ❣️❤️😋😀

We were promptly seated. As we're walking to our table you can sense the energy and great vibe of the place. Hubby and I shared three dishes and we enjoyed ALL of them. The cauliflower fried rice and roasted sweet potatoes were VERY generous portions and the Misfit burger was perfectly cooked. If I were to choose I'd say that the sweet potatoes were our favorite and I highly recommend you try them. The service was a perfect balance of being attentive and also giving us space. We look forward to coming back next time we're in Santa Monica.

I’ve been to this restaurant multiple times to know that the food is pretty good. If you are planning to visit this place and don’t want to deal with wait times, try visiting it during the week in the afternoon(lunch). This place gets REALLY busy on Saturday night. If you go with a large group be prepared to wait a while. They do not do reservations so you will have to wait. They do have a bar area where you can wait until your party is texted, but that area does get very full. I gave it four stars because when it is really busy on the weekends the service and food quality tend to go down a bit. I’d recommend going here for lunch and possibly dinner during the business week, not on weekends if you want to eat right away. Otherwise, it’s a nice establishment.

Cool place, nice people. The aesthetics are awesome. The bar is presented as a dive bar though and it's actually fairly uptight which is misleading. I got kicked out for violating dress code - I walked in wearing a tank top.
