Used to be my and my wife's favorite pizza place. Their garlic knots and pizza are phenomenal and we've always had great service. Their upstairs seating is very cozy also. We've since moved to Oregon but always make it a point to come here when we visit.

We have kids so pizza is a frequent meal for us. It is hard to impress me with pizza but this might have been the best I’ve had! Fresh ingredients, served up piping hot! We sat upstairs where the smell and warmth were amazing! Great food, Friendly, attentive staff and thoughtful touches (crayons for kids and more) made this a great experience. Thank you La Vera!

The food here is delicious here! Staff for the most part is nice. They seem a little entitled, but most of them put in a hard effort. Portions are pretty large too. You can have some left overs for the next day after each time you decide to eat here. LA Vera has a fully stocked bar, and a good dessert menu, so it is definitely a great place to go on a Friday or Saturday night.

The amount of time it took to be seated was TRIPLE the amount of time we were quoted. Once we were finally at our table, it a waiter simply asked if "water was okay for everybody," then proceeded to never bring it to us. It wasn't until about 20 minutes later that another waiter came around and offered it, which still took yet another 10 minutes or so, and the wait staff didn't return to take an order. After one of our group finally went looking for someone to help us (completely unacceptable!), we ordered and finally were served our food approximately 2 hours after we arrived at the restaurant. Most of our group of 6 (note: less people than a few of the groups of people already there) was on the verge of simply walking out because the combination of the terrible service and the prices were just not worth it. To top it off their supposed specialty was bland. Overall, staying home and ordering Domino's would have been more tasty. Needless to say, we're probably never going back there.
