This restaurant is a little pricey, but their menu offers unique foods that many of the Japanese restaurants I've been to do not have or perhaps their chefs are not as creative. But it's at the beach. It's trendy and always seems packed. They definitely have a following of their regulars. Food was amazing!

The Sushi was excellent and the service was nice - but sadly a bit unorganized when we were there. They forgot to give us a menu and came after 10-15 minutes to take our order, which was our first chance to ask for the menu. We ordered crab cakes as a starter which took more than 30 minutes. After that, the sushi came fast and was delicious. One of our orders didn't get through and was then sold out when we asked, but we just ordered some other sushi which was again quickly on our table and almost as fast in our tummies. I can definitely recommend this place - just bring some time.

Food is so delicious here. The pork cutlet was truly amazing. The miso soup was just right. Very friendly employees. The drive from Los Angeles is worth it.

Some of the best tasting dishes I've ever had from any Japanese restaraunt. Everything was super fresh and delicious. We sampled the sushi, entrees, and house specials. Everything was made to perfection and was far superior to anything I had ever had in past experiences prior to discovering Koi. Be prepared to wait during prime hours, but I guarantee it will be worth every minute.

Nice friendly atmosphere. Great service. Good food. The pork teriyaki is just fantastic.
