OVERALL: Great Lebanese food and very good service with a varied menu offering many choices. Parking is as bad as any other location in Belmont Shore, but Open Sesame is worth the effort. The extensive menu has middle eastern dishes most SoCal residents are familiar with, but Open Sesame has additional dishes more familiar to Lebanese natives. I want to return and try more items. Lunch items average $12.00 and the portions are generous. The service is great. The young woman who served us took excellent care of our table, and made the experience top notch. The restaurant is not large and there's outdoor seating. I look forward to my next visit.

My wife and I have been coming here for years and we love everything about Open Sesame! The food is delicious, the service super friendly and the price very fair. You have to try the potatoes!! And you can't go wrong with Ali's Favorite.

I love the food and Atmosphere. The waitress, Laura was awesome, friendly and attentive. The hummus is fresh and the garlic sauce is to die for...I can't get enough! One of my favorite places to eat!

Driving by I see Lebanese I thought I stop have some food I know very well I am Lebanese. I order lamb it was smallest pieces of meat I ever seen and didn't taste right. Rice had noodles in it. WHAT? Didn't eat they don't have proper rice. I order chicken & fries because still hungry. Chicken small pieces & pitta wasn't good. Fries were nice. not worth $40. You want proper kebab go north of downtown.

I have been to this establishment many times and will definitely come back. I always get fried potatoes w/ extra garlic sauce, tamarind drink, the Sultan entree, and finish with a coffee. My two issues this time were the cleanliness of my plate and utensils and the sugar for my coffee. My plate and fork still had food residues leftover. The sugar packets were so old that they formed little chunks. These types of issues are small, but they make me wonder if the establishment and its employees are too easy going. Again, the restaurant will always have my business, but if this did occur again then I will speak up and possibly stop patronizing the establishment.
