This restaurant is charming when you walk in. You feel like you are in japan. It's small but the tables are far enough apart. The food is amazing. One of the best sushi meals I've ever had, and I've had a lot. This was a pot under the rainbow find. Go there, you will be happy you did

This little gem, tucked away in a strip mall with a very modest entrance. Always serving fresh sashimi and great service. This is a very authentic sushi restaurant with all Japanese chef so don't come here looking for fusion rolls. I highly recommend their Chirashi Tokujo.

A very authentic, sort of upscale place for yummy cuisine. I go a few times a year with my Japanese mother in law and family, and it's always a treat. I love the friendly staff, and the food! Everything is so tasty and fresh. I usually get sushi and sashimi as well as some tempura. Bliss!

Excellent sushi! The sushi chef is the real deal! I'm a picky sushi eater, and this place is one of my favorites.

Very authentic and very good sushi. I sat at the bar and spoke a little Japanese with the two chefs, who seemed to really appreciate my effort, and they were extremely nice. I ordered the Sashimi Omakase and the Live Shrimp for a total around $77. The fish was fresh and was textured exactly how I expected the cuts to be. The Live Shrimp is definitely a unique item I haven't tried before, and is something I recommend to the adventurous eater. You get the bodies (which are freshly slaughtered) on nigiri rolls and the heads are fried completely. I've had sushi places fry fish bones after the dish was completed, before, so this seemed pretty normal. I ate the legs and the backs, but decided to leave the heads since I was sure how I felt about them. I will definitely be back next time I visit Long Beach for work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
