Fantastic classic Italian cuisine. Great live saxophone and dim lighting made for a wonderful environment to eat in. The place has good decor and isn't in disrepair. Menu is not to large which is always a good sign, and prices were good for the quality of food. Staff seemed knowledgeable of the menu and never had any issues concerning questions with recommendations. Great find within South Lake and definitely we'll be back.

Staff was friendly, we were seated immediately upon arrival for our reservation. Waiter was nice and no problems with the orders, we did have to request refills on the water. All meals in our party were brought out in a timely manner and were good. No problems with any of the meals and everyone had a great time.

One of the best Italian restaurants I've been to in some time, Scusa serves up 5 star dishes with impeccable service. The quiet cozy restaurant is the perfect place to take a date for a romantic evening out. Each appetizer, entree, and dessert is made from scratch in-house by a chef who clearly takes time and pride in his work. Not being in the heart of the busy South Lake Tahoe district is actually another great reason why you should make the short trip to Scusa for a quiet enjoyable evening.

One of the best 5 Italian/ Sicilian restaurants I have had the pleasure of enjoying in California. The Spinach Pasta Mediterranean has the perfect mix of spices and ingredients. The Cannoli’s are authentic Sicilian and in my book (being Italian) are hard to come by. Definitely my new to go to when staying in Tahoe.

This place is one of the best to eat at in Tahoe. Everything our party of 4 ordered was delicious. One tip... Lobster ravioli (appetizer) is really really good.
