The food was really good. We waited at the front counter for a while before a young the waitress finally acknowledged us and told us we could sit wherever we like. She later came and took our drink order. The restaurant was not terribly busy, there were plenty of vacant seats and a few staff moving about. It was some time before she came and took our food order. Shortly later, another waitress came and checked on us and brought some napkins. This second waitress brought our food order nearly 45 minutes later and apologized for the order taking so long. In the meantime, the first waitress passed by several times without looking our way to acknowledge our empty glasses or check on us. The second waitress didn't come to our area other than to deliver the food. While she was quite friendly, it couldn't make up for the general inattentiveness we experienced from the beginning, or the long wait. We are pretty patient and could understand a long wait, but it makes a world of difference when you at least check in. The food was great and the price was very reasonable. It's a pity that the lack of service prevents a better review.

There’s a grill in our village where local rain makes spring another phase for dining under my year. Choices hit the spot. We come from experience to lengthen thrill and eat to our heart’s content because such a restaurant as Village Grill gives support over daily breakfast and prepares for lines of customers who pick out numbers or conditions throughout night action. Servers get active enough to bring dishes by moving here and there in stern attention, but they’re humorous to the point of greeting and leave tables at food with glee since days may pass for what they are on a high note, enthusiasm and sheer movement to which constant elements (menu, receipts, and mints) happen for whatever pleases if not disguise. I arrive at the restaurant, Village Grill, every other week just to perceive it as a wooden mess hall and share money to a cashier in permanent favor of delectables, satisfaction, quick service for the buck as shown in physics near charms and levels of white paint inside. More than what meets the eye can display workers in good light above clean floor when hours on end mix up in fashion and professionalism, so you’ll find the purses hanging on sale in the lobby to add onto benefits a fair proportion of appeal especially if you decide to munch pastrami in a sandwich or move crackers among each other towards delicious pea soup. A good amount of condition should make out the quality in menu items as you search through pamphlets only to achieve recognition for choices between options, even if you’re hungry and a bite seems to keep you calm beneath the roof and Tehachapi’s lost cause of rain. Everything is proportion in numbers, menu onto privilege, sanity under commotion. Your meal in appeal depends on tastes from the experience however diners pardon plates for forks or knifes and even spoons. Burgers often are to be relished beyond hope for the doubt as fries help on designing the plate in fashion for potatoes after the crew recommends seasonings and perfections together in harmony, so, although dishes can make food seem larger than real, size of out proportion ought to come to terms with another dish or two as a matter of due course for the crew’s witty, emotional presentation. So much perfection is entirely what makes Village Grill the focus for Tehachapi when groups in the city are approachable to greetings and the simple life of happenings as yet more specials like steak (medium-rare for me) and fajitas have us leave the world behind against time for privilege around benefits and a general, dim mass of beauty in nature around Village Grill.

Consistently good food. Not many options for vegetarians here. Typical diner food that is prepared well. Service was great, friendly people.
