In town for the week. Tried a few other places. Then discovered this place. What a treat. Great service. Great food. Lots of beer choices. I am not sure how some of the others are staying in business. Thanks Ruby Slipper for saving my trip.

Went here because of good reviews, and now it's my turn. Great place. Went with two families; both the kids and the adults enjoyed the meal. My wife raved about the stuffed jalapenos, and I had a delicious bacon jalapeno burger. Really looking forward to going back.

Rubi Slipper is one of the better places to come get a huge hamburger and fries. I would mainly stick to sandwiches, hamburgers, or tacos. Their green chili is not the best but they have amazing hamburgers. Staff is very friendly and great place to meet up with friends.

this place is by far the best place in Alamosa Colorado to eat. I would say it's probably my favorite hamburger place I've ever had. staff is friendly and would recommend for just coming and eating at the bar a burger or or bringing the whole family to eat. the menu is crazy on the number of burgers and sandwiches they offer. don't know how many they have exactly but probably around 50. I tried so far four of their burgers and have have not been disappointed. so far my favorite is the salmon club sandwich. best place for desserts too in Alamosa. they have a different list of cheesecakes to choose from each day. I've had so far two different ones and both of them were excellent. Highly recommend this place to eat

Sad experience. Front of house manager was poor at managing a somewhat busy night. She first brought to a two-top that was sat but would not seat us at the two open four-tops (which were shortly sat with two people each). After the table she wanted us at was cleared, she still kept taking care of her friends at the front kiosk and ignoring us. Our server was perfect and did an excellent job. My girlfriend ordered a veggie burger and enjoyed it. My beef burger was cooked to a char and I can only imagine it was an attempt to cover the rancid smell of the bad beef! DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU DON'T LIKE RANCID MEAT! After sending my burger back and not wanting another, the FHM from earlier comes over to tell me how they have, "really great burgers." All in all, stay away from this place. Dangerous food and bad service from the management. If you question my validity about the meat, I am a Chef and have run a number of restaurants. I stress, for your safety, DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
