I have been going here for many years. It used to be my favorite place. It's different now though. The croutons don't seem to be made from scratch anymore. Plus the shrimp scampi that was my favorite doesn't have toasted breadcrumbs on it any more. It's still a good place to go and hang out. I just don't feel it is as good as it used to be. The staff is very nice though and they do have really good handicap parking. So if you're in the area and looking for pub food and beer and booze it's not a bad choice.

BJ's use to be one of the best restaurants in Denver. Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and fabelous food. If I was in Colorado on a Friday night, this is where I took family, friends and co workers to dinner. However, the last several times l have been to BJ's the quality of food has gone way down. I'm not sure that the Chefs really know what they are doing anymore. My pizza has been burnt, steak overcooked, and appetizers doughy. I understand everyone has an off day, but for the prices you pay, you expect excellence on regular basis. I will say this much for BJ's if you want a hand crafted beer or a hand crafted soda... BJ's would still be the place to go. Their beer and soda still rate an over all 10 from me.

What a terrible experience! I went there for a quick bite to eat with my bridesmaids before wedding dress shopping. We were on a time crunch and so we sat in the bar area. When our server arrived Nicholas B. he was rude and short with us. I told him right away we were on a time crunch and that we just wanted a quick bite. His response sarcastically "well seeing as we are a busy restaurant I can't make any promises." Let me tell you I have been in the service industry for 10 + years. When someone tells me that I do my very best to make their time frame. Not Nicholas. My maid of honor asked him what he suggested for us since we were on a time crunch his response was "nothing from the fryer, no pizzas, I don't know maybe like a salad." So we ordered our drinks, all water or fountain sodas, one friend got a margarita. When he got back we were ready to order. My friend asked him what kind of soups they had to which he responded "all of them". His attitude was insane! Again being a server I could repeat all of our soups by heart but Nicholas was already pissed off that we were on a time crunch. So we all ordered soup and salad, easiest thing ever, right? Wrong. The few of us that got salads, got our salads and then sat and sat and sat waiting for soup....I had to leave for my appointment with no soup. My girls stayed behind to ask for boxes and the check. Nicholas B. was impossible to track down, they asked him multiple times for the check and was even more rude. Rolling his eyes. Making it VERY clear that we were inconveniencing him. I will never go back here again.

I am giving this restaurant a one star due to the fact that the waiter Corey served my eight-year-old son a not your grandfathers root beer containing 5.9% alcohol, with my son consuming A couple drinks, before the waiter decided to ever so casually switch out the alcoholic beverage with the non-alcoholic root beer. Then later Corey acted as if it was no big deal, he did not approach me in any matter nor did he apologize for serving my son the beverage! With this happening the general manager Maria came and sat down with me and explained how she couldn’t understand how something like this happen. So her resolution was to comp the meal .... However this does not help with my sons Peace of mind, he is traumatized!!! I do Not understand myself how something like this could happen! I have started the correct steps for taking action and have contacted local news. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you wanted to be treated poorly. Did I mention this all took place on MOTHER’S DAY!? May 13th @ 6:45 pm...... Again, this place has some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered thus far.

If you want steak, you should really go to a place that's good for ordering steak. This is definitely not a place to order a steak- especially a prime rib- but I didn't know this then so I thought I'd give it a shot. The meat was cooked properly so there's no argument about that but the quality of this cut was not ideal. There wasn't much melting in mouth as I ate it as I was mostly fighting the pieces you don't want to eat as you chew. I'm not mad at BJ’s because I'm the one that chose to order this menu item. In the future I'll know not to do that but for the time being it's a lesson learned- if I want a good steak go to outback or a place that is known for great steak. Aside from that, the atmosphere, appetizers, and drinks were not bad at all.
