This is a nice, upscale restaurant in Boulder. They have small plates to share or larger entrees if you like to go that route. The menu was eclectic, ranging from Kale and apple salad to Rib Eye steak for two. Of course we opted for the steak. The deserts were excellent, we head one of each for our table of 4. Wine selection was good (Washington representing nicely). A lot of clever cocktails, nothing that was as usual but they were tasty.

WOW WOW! Ate here with a friend a few nights ago and was reminded how good the food can be. The wait staff were attentive and suggested some of their favorites-he did NOT steer us wrong. The gnocchi was truly heavenly. When they describe them as pillows-believe them. We got the chicken which was the best and most flavorful chicken I've ever eaten. Well done Oak! I'll be back soon!

My wife and I have been to this restaurant 3 times, and it has never disappointed. The atmosphere is lively yet affords conversation. The staff are attentive, courteous, and knowledgable yet allow you space. The small plates are fascinating, delicious studies of a particular flavors and profiles. The entrees have been some of the best I’ve ever had - particularly a crab tempura that beautifully married crisp with succulent. Their drinks are also fantastic, from a great wine selection through skilled bartenders who are able to concoct excellent cocktails with little prompting. And, most importantly, we have always felt welcomed and valued as guests of the restaurant. Oak is the most consistent, imaginative, and best restaurant in Boulder. Bar none.

Nice restaurant space with AWESOME food. In love with the Lamb Ravioli. Very nice and friendly bartender.

Good, but inconsistent - one time I had a particular dish, it was piled with fried squash blossoms, but the next time, it had only two. It’s also quite loud and smells of smoke. Good for dining with friends but not dates.
