I ate here with three friends and was so impressed with the kindness and consideration of the staff. Two of the four people in our group eat plant-based (vegan) diets, and there were not too many options on the menu for us. The waiter recommended the carrot dish, claiming it was his favorite on the menu. Because their drink menu is so much fun, I was fine to nibble on some arugula salad and carrots for the meal. But apparently, they decided it was not an acceptable dinner for me, so the manager came out with a vegan entrée created by the chef (off-menu) which was complimentary. The reason: because they were not impressed with the vegan options they had to offer us! I could have cried! It was an incredible masterpiece, with amazing and creative sauces, and the dish was five-star quality. Our whole table was shocked that went so above and beyond to accommodate us, without us asking for anything! The drinks are so creative, and all the names have a hilarious story behind them. The bar staff seems to have a great time creating new drinks and coming up with clever names for them. I had a difficult time deciding between so many options, so the waiter asked what kind of alcohol and flavors I liked, and the bartender created a spontaneous drink for me. They even named it! I have never been so impressed with a restaurant as I was at Bramble and Hare. I would recommend it to anyone, even vegans! On top of the friendly and fun staff, the atmosphere is perfect. From giant old-fashioned scales in the (first) bathroom to books on hipsters, the place is entirely quirky and comical, with style and grace. The lighting is perfect for a romantic date, and the menu will give you so much to talk and laugh about. Easily my new favorite restaurant in Boulder!

Food was great, staff was kind. Drinks were well made, never too sweet. Not a cheap place to eat but, worth every single penny.

We love this place. Been to Black Cat before, but this place is just as good for an even more affordable price. Definitely will be returning

Bramble and Hair is a cozy restaurant on Pearl with great food and cocktails. I have been to Black Cat several times, which is the sister restaurant to Bramble and Hair next door, and this place really impressed me. It has all of the great farm-to-table food that Black Cat has, but in a more laid back setting. The waiter also knew a lot about mixed drinks and the food and was great at explaining flavors. I would definitely get a cocktail if you stop in.

Speaking specifically to the cocktails and bartenders: go in here and ask for a bartender's choice. Give them as much or as little prompting as you'd like, sit back, and enjoy the results.
