I love May Palace. The owners are local and very nice. The food is wy better than the other Chinese in town. They also run a great lunch special that can't be beat.

There are so many choices in this downtown area but you won't find better prices, quality food and a friendlier staff. The crab wontons were so good. Lunches are huge and under $8.00. Very nice owners!! Highly recommend.

Despite there being many delicious restaurants down Main Ave, May's Palace is definitely one to try. I wasn't exactly in the mood for Asian cuisine at the time, but I went along with my family. I was incredibly surprised by the service; the woman who attended us was SO down to earth and helpful with the questions we had and attending to our general needs. The woman, I am sorry, I can't remember her name at the moment, made the experience all the more enjoyable. She spoke with us, even spoke a little Spanish (we told her we are Texans) and made us feel at home. The food was delicious, I didn't even need to add soy sauce or any other chile sauce to get flavor from it. My sister in law ordered the lemon chicken which was not only flavorful, but light and freshly made. All of our food was really delicious and filling. We also ordered Jack and Coke which was also yummy! Great place! Can't wait to go back and eat at May's when I'm in town.

Really fast service as I joined May Palace for lunch on a Wednesday. The Mongolian beef was incredibly tender and the noodles were awesome. Recommend this place to anyone looking for a great Chinese restaurant. They've been here in Durango 32 years! FIND IT AND GO!!

I very much enjoyed the hospitality and care that the service had for us. It made us feel that they cared how we we're enjoying ourselves.
