Don't go if you are hungry! I am a huge fan of Mediterranean and middle eastern food. Those types of restaurants are always a must try for me. And I am not stuck up on anything but the food. Some of my favorite Med joints have been order at the counter/paper basket joints. Cyprus Cafe feels to me like my German grandmother's version of Med food. It's hard to put into words short of saying "This is not what I expected or wanted" and I left hungry despite cleaning my plate. All for the low low price of ~$20/person for lunch with iced tea. I could maybe sum it up by saying Cyprus Cafe is to Mediterranean food what grocery stores are to sushi, if that sushi were also the same price you would pay at Nobu. We won't be back. If you want far superior Med food, try Cairo Cafe. It has it's own problems (like ever being open when you expect it to be) but the food is excellent.

Find another restaurant. One star is an extraration! This place was AWFUL! I ordered a $30 beef tenderloin (medium rare) and was served a pile of well done gristle. I’m appalled that they actually served it. DO NOT GO HERE.

Totally one of my top local favorite dinning spots. Whenever I have family, friends or clients visiting Durango, I take them to Cyprus for wonderful food, wine and ambiance!

Wonderful food and service. A cozy space. Excellent outdoor dining area as well.

Underwhelming. Nice decor, but the food was on par with the worst Mediterranean food I've eaten, the prices were high-ish, and the portions were small. My wife's gyro had a pitiful little pile of meat that didn't cover a third of the pita. The meat looked and tasted like it was from Sam's Club. I've literally seen the same meat in the gyro from a mall food court. Terrible. My turkey sandwich paired a warm pita with refrigerator-cold turkey, and the pasta salad that came with it was tasteless. From talking with friends who previously liked this place and have had similar experiences lately, it sounds like it has gone seriously downhill. I hope they work to improve it.
