We love love love this place. The food is AWESOME! Just a few things....please have your servers introduce themselves. It would make a big difference. We've had Emily twice and she is AMAZING. Last night we were seated in the bar area. I never ever want to be seated there again. We waited 40 minutes for our meal. Now the food is worth the wait but last night it wasn't busy and our food came cold. No desserts left for us to have. Our server was not friendly at all. She wouldn't even smile when we tried to joke with her. Having her run the bar and wait tables is not fair to her, the customers who sat at the bar, nor the restaurant patrons. Didn't get a refill on my water and I am big on making sure my water is filled. But we are addicted and come every week now. This just wasn't a good night and wanted to let you know.

Great Food and Cool History! This place is over 100 years old. Bison Heads that are on the walls are from Bison that used to roam behind the restaurant in the pastures there. (I checked out their website before we went.) I think it's special they pay homage to the past and know it doesn't have to be super fancy to serve great food! The Waitress was friendly and accommodating, checking on us multiple times. The food feels like home cooking which I love. In our party everyone had steak and it was cooked perfectly to our liking and the flavor was fantastic. I'm not sure about other nights but we went on a Friday and they had Friday Night Specials. I got the New York Strip(which was good sized, I think 12 or 14oz), sauteed mushrooms and baked potato, for less than $20 and it included the salad bar (it's limited but has the essentials.) For dessert my son and two others in our party had cheesecake and I had chocolate cake and all desserts where...WOW, YUM! A total thumbs up! We'll be back!

The good: The location is excellent and so was our food. My grandmother made the best chicken fried steak on Earth ever, so naturally I compare all others. This was the best chicken fried steak I've ever had of the road. My daughter had fish and chips and that too was perfect. The bad: service was horrendous. Note my second photo. Nothing was cleared during our meal. That's annoying and chaotic, so I had to give three stars.

This was the first time that my husband and I have eaten here, but over the years we've always driven by the place. Very well worth the stop. We ordered the sirloin steak for two and left with leftovers. The steak was very tender and cooked to perfection. The service was fantastic. The nice thing is that there is even parking for semis. We definitely will be back.

Warm and friendly breakfast spot. Service was great. Standard breakfast was good. The place was not super busy and food came out quickly. Price seems average. Would stop again if traveling past.
