I see all the other great reviews and have to think that it may have just been the day we came. Either way, my husband and I didn't have the best time. This place was incredibly loud. I could hear the conversations of the lady a few tables from me clearly. Our waitress was rather lackluster. She was difficult to find. My husband and I were frustrated with our service, our food, the staff, (constant laughing or just not present at all) and the overall environment. I have been to Egg and I restaurants before (multiple states) and have loved them. It was disappointing having my first time at this location be so troubling. I may try this location again in the future but definitely won't be in a rush.

We had been there a few weeks ago on a Saturday or Sunday and knew that they were busy on weekends, so I called about fifteen minutes before we arrived yesterday and was told that she could put my name on the wait list. So when we did arrive about 11:30, we were seated almost immediately. That was nice because the waiting area seating was full! There are a lot of great choices on their menu! And of course we like the food there. The service is very good, also.

Terrible service. The teenagers working there are unorganized and rude. I watched them snap and talk behind each other’s back at the front desk. I was waiting to be seated with a small child and my husband. The lack of organization caused the wait to exceed 30 minutes after being told we would have to wait only. 15 minutes. I eventually left after watching larger groups get seated before my small family. These larger groups came in after us and had no reservation. I know that because I asked them. Ended up at village inn.

Great spot for breakfast! No wait when we went on Friday morning. I had the Hikers Benedict and it was delicious. I had a side of dressed greens which was also tasty but probably better suited as a side for lunch. Next time I'll go with the toast or potatoes. My son had a pancake which he loved and so did I. Coffee was good, service was good. Will be back.

Okay, so. This place can get VERY busy. This place is small and may not have to much seating room. But they do very good on making sure the wait is as short as possible. I personally think that the management team of The Egg & I are very good at choosing who they hire. All the staff here and very friendly. Now, let me talk about the food. I once was not feeling hungry at all and I just got simply 2 chocolate chip pancakes to help my sweet tooth (no I am not proud I have a sweet tooth) and those pancakes were about 11 dollars when it only probably cost the store 15 cents to make. No I am not going to take any stars away for that. There’s probably a reason I am unsure about and the pancake was delicious. So, everything that I have tried was delicious! The last thing that I saw is how much the team cares about these reviews. I were looking over some other ones to see how everyone was feeling about the place. Every single review was clearly appreciated. I saw one person say there burrito was kinda cold and they gave them a email so they can fix it. I love it!!! In the end, I think this place is a wonderful place that anyone who visits the wonderful city of Denver/Parker should go to. It’s great for small groups, or just to get a good bite to eat!
