Wow. That was great. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with great company and a relaxing atmosphere. The food was truly awesome. Our only complaint was the somewhat firm imposition by the server that serving sizes were very small so we should each order more than we probably needed. Serving sizes are really a perfect size. If you enjoy great food, go no further.

you can't go to Vail without a visit to Sweet Basil. Service is always impeccable and the food truly delicious. You might scoff at the suggestion of the Cesar salad - but there's a reason it has been on the menu for so long. It's divine. Ditto for the Saffron Linguine.

absolutely unbelievable food. I have traveled a lot and have been to many different restaurants, but hands down, this is the best food I have ever had. The spring rolls, oysters, and lamb is incredible!! Besides the meal the service is unbelievable!! If I can give them more stars I would! Thanks for a GREAT experience!!!

Truly delicious food. The dishes are modern but not pretentious, and the flavours are really well done. Would highly recommend for a nice dinner.

We had a very unique experience this evening at Sweet Basil one with a twist ending. Our evening started out with us waiting 45 minutes with no appetizers or any explanation as to what happened to our orders. When the couple next to us, who were seated 15 minutes after us, not only got their appetizers but also their meals...I was livid. We had come here to celebrate my wife's birthday and this was a horrible start to a place with such high expectation. Within minutes of demanding something be done or we were just going to leave, a manager promptly came to our rescue. He was very polite and explained that our ticket was in some was misplaced and if we would allow him, he assured our evening would be nothing short of excellent. We gave him the opportunity to try and do what I thought was impossible, to impress me after over a 50 minute wait with no food at all. This is the twist ending...the food we received was absolutely incredible. My wife and I enjoy lavish experiences with fine dining and this topped them all. Truly, we had been to every 5 star restaurant in Vail and the food here was comparable to cuisine we had only experienced in world renowned venues abroad. This night ended with an enormously generous blessing to us from the manager, who was willing to pay for our meal, an amazing culinary experience that excited us throughout the night and turned what was inevitably a 1 star experience into one of the best most memorable experiences I could have ever wanted for my wife's birthday. Well done Sweet Basil...you won over a lifelong customer.
