Very personable, comfortable environment. Many locals with deep community history spending time here and an American Legion post with BINGO on Saturday night! Nothing posh, just great and inexpensive food and drinks! Train theme is fun for kids and adults!

Fun and cute restaurant. Good service but a little slow. Great if you have a couple hours to eat and hangout with friends. Ask for them to turn the train on. 🚂

This is a clean restaurant with exceptional character, a warm friendly atmosphere, great food, and very reasonable prices. It's an undiscovered gem in Palmer Lake CO. It has a railroad theme with railroad pictures and memorabilia almost completely covering all the walls. Many of the menu items are named after railroad jargon. We had a "260 Locomotive" (burrito smothered in green chili) and a "Wabash" (hamburger smothered in green chili). The green chili is homemade, delicious, but not terribly spicy. Both were delicious and we left stuffed. It is located right across from the lake (THE Palmer Lake), with the railroad in between the restaurant and the lake. We saw three trains go by while we were there. We will definitely be back . . . often.

Love this little gem. The setting is great for us after we hike or ride bikes. The g Owner is meticulous and very kind. We love the menu and food. Just down home nothing fancy. It's definitely what locals love about it.
