Reminder of my childhood .I grew eating this pizza. The 130 year old coal fired oven creates the best thin crust. No frills, wooden benches and hasn't been renovated in years but it's a time capsule of years gone bye. Just a excellent classic one of a kind pizza joint.

A local landmark and staple. I believe that they have the oldest coal fire brick pizza oven in continuous operation in the state, which is over 140 years, but not 100% sure on that so ... Absolutely great pie for the particular style. Some say its the best pizza in CT, and one of those people is almost 300 lbs. AND 100% Italian, so his opinion holds high credibility. FYI - VERY LIMITED SEATING, TAKE OUT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED unless its not at normal meal time, and your solo or with 1 or 2 other people.

This used to be one of my favorite pizza joints. The last few times over a span of a couple years have left me very disappointed. I just recently ordered 2 pies and both of them were atrocious. The dough was either old or overworked. The bottom of the pie was smooth like a sheet of glass and the crust was so hard and chewy. I couldn't even finish the pies. Such a waste. It breaks my heart as this was my favorite place growing up.

Been going here since a kid and I still like it. The taste of old style brick oven pizza it's my favorite. This place never changes and they only accept cash.

Some of the best pizza I've had outside of Rome and New Haven. Just get the basic pie with grated cheese. It's heavenly. I do wish they'd move away from cash-only, though.
