The French Onion Soup is great This is my second time there, the French Onion Soup was great. This time I choose the steak on a stone, the quality of the steak was very good, unfortunately the stone wasn't hot enough to cook the steak very well. My wife got the sauteed shrimp, it was very good and she enjoyed it very much. The service remains in need of improvement, my wife got the clam chowder, she didn't like it and put it at the end of the table, normally the waiter would ask if something was wrong, the entire wait staff walked by without addressing it. It's a shame with such good food and an amazing decor they really should train there staff better.

i absolutely love how unique this place is. easy to find location. it used to be an old train station that was converted into a beautiful restaurant & bar. the menu comes with many choices, but not overwhelming. a lot of great options. everything we ordered was perfect. the staff was very accommodating, efficient, & friendly. after dining, we moved into the bar area to explore the building a bit. derek was knowledgeable & super personable. we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he was extremely friendly & welcoming. we will definitely be back. if you're looking for a place to really enjoy yourself, feel at home, & have a great experience.. you have to go here.

Service is excellent. Appetizers came out super quick. Waitress very attentive to detail. Food was excellent. Only reason for 4 stars: prices are slightly more than we like to pay, but I would go again for date night. Highly recommend for the atmosphere, service and food quality. There are basic choices for things like wraps, burgers, etc that are more affordable for us. We would pay the slightly higher cost for the excellent service we received. It was worth it.

We had been wanting to try the station for a while, so as my month in CT was coming to an end we made it a point to set aside a night to go in with our two small daughters. Right away I could tell that we were going to have issues when I asked the waitress for one of the 4 available empty booths and was lead to a half booth/half table and told 'the other booths don't have servers?' Then we met our waiter. We ordered drinks, waited 10 minutes for them, ordered our appetizer with the marinara on the side, and it appeared COVERED in Marinara. After waiting an additional 15 minutes for him to come back to point this out, I was done. I asked for the check at that point and upon the waiter rolling his eyes and telling me 'there's nothing he could have done differently', I asked for the manager. Well the manager made things right. She suggested we start over, and got us a brand new waitress. That waitress was FABULOUS! Fresh drinks that never ran out, a new appetizer that had the marinara on the side, and she actually came and took our order! My husband's steak was delicious and my chicken marsala was the best I'd ever had. The cheesecake was also to die for. If we are lucky enough to be back in the area AND get the same waitress, I'd love to return to the Station. It is worth it! I hope management weeds out the bad apple before he scares off any future customers!

Took a friend for a birthday lunch. Wait staff friendly and attentive! Food was excellent! Variety of wines to drink. We sat at a window seat and the train passing through finished a very nice time.
