This place is the best. I go every year for my birthday. The food is great, and the beer is very refreshing. There is a wonderfully fun atmosphere that makes the evening truly entertaining. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They have food for all ages, the children menu has some good options that is not just fried food. I can really appreciate that. During the warmer weather they open up some roof top seating that is also really a great experience. They have a nice semi quiet dining section if you have kids but the main dining room is my favorite place to sit. Its loud and fun and really adds to the experience.

Had a wonderful meal at the East Side Restaurant. Had their pot roast and it was so fork tender. Their turnip and carrot vegetables that was mixed together and flavored with a little nutmeg was delicious! The service was good and the waitress/waiter was attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

A fine selection of German dishes and beers. Attentive wait staff and servers. Very quick service but not rushed if you want to linger. There is a quiet side and a noisy side, both are enjoyable. There is an outdoor upper deck that is open in warmer weather. Parking can be tough when it's busy, be prepared to park in the streets.

2018 update: It's been a year since my first review. The food is still great! I love the $20.18 meal. 2017 review: Delicious food. Friendly service. My first visit but it's officially on my list of top spots.

This is a fun place we go to on our birthdays bash. It tries to maintain the feeling of a German beer hall with some success. The food is good and a decent attempt at German cooling. It is expensive, but very enjoyable.
