On numerous visits to this location in New Britain, they run out of items displayed on menu. Several months back I ordered a meal that included fries, unfortunately they didn't have any fries. The manager on duty gave me a joke about not having fries and running out of other items in the past. I walked out and was very disappointed because not only do I love their chicken but the fries are great as well. Forward to tonight, I decided to try again since its been a while that I've eaten at this location. I drive up to location and immediately see the item in which I came to purchase displayed on the outside window..... Ghost Pepper Wings $4.99. As I enter I notice the same manager from my not so well last experience sitting in the front in the dining area talking on a cell phone. I proceed to order with the young lady behind the counter. I asked, how many ghost pepper wings come in the order? She said, we don't sell those anymore. I said, well they are still advertised outside on the window. She says, I'm sorry but we don't sell them anymore. So I then turn to the manager and ask him, how come every time I come to this location they don't have certain items. He responds, we don't carry this item anymore. I then respond, well if you don't carry it anymore you shouldn't advertise it. He rudely turns around and continues talking on the phone. I then say but aren't u the manager and your gonna blow me off like that. He runs to the back of the store and comes back with 2 others managers. As they are walking towards me the female manager says call the cops. I respond with you're threatening to call the cops on me because you don't have an item that you're advertising. After some back and forth the younger manager became very helpful and asked to rectify the situation. At this point I was extremely disappointed and upset with their immediate response that I just turned around and walked out. As I walked out the female manager ran up to the window and pulled down the ghost pepper display. This lack of item selection and then lack of customer service is extremely disappointing from a top notch food chain such as Popeyes. As a manager, I know that this type of service is unacceptable. I really hope that these issues are addressed immediately or other customers will not be happy either.

Got my order wrong and food didn't even seem to be cooked correctly, lady at window also was very rude. Definitely don't expect world class service but at least seem somewhat happy to be there. Definitely won't be back however I'm sure they aren't worried as being fast food they will always have the traffic.

Well the food was good but they had no shrimp or honey. How do you advertise a product and have no more. We went around dinner time so there is no reason they should be sold out.

This Popeyes has been thee worst one that I have visited ever! I drive outside of my town for Popeyes when I crave it. They always have dry biscuits, burnt and/or dry chicken! The food sometimes taste day old so, I've decided not to visit ever. They get orders wrong and they never greet their customer!

WORST POPEYES I’ve ever ate at. I had no problem ordering and the staff seems pretty standard in their politeness. But I know there was something up when I asked for extra bbq sauce and the person at the window told me he had already gave us 3 in the bag. We had 3 meals ? One for each meal wasn’t enough... but I didn’t argue. Upon opening the box immediately felt disrespected. The strip were skinnier than my pinky and 90% of the strips were BREADCRUMBS and 10% CHICKEN. All the strips were extra hard & my sides seemed like children’s portions which weren’t good either. The biscuits tasted stale and undercooked at the same time. Idk how they really were okay with giving those meals out to people. Wont ever return to this branch. If you’re on the fence about KFC or this franchise , At least KFC will give you your moneys worth.
