Cool place, great service. I have to say my preference of pizza would not be here. It's somewhat good pizza but it's expensive and small for a pie. The options you get are unique and delicious still.

Kitchen Zinc should be on your list of New Haven Pizza spots to try. The menu offers a wide range of pizza options from your standard cheese to an artisan fig pizza. Kitchen Zinc also has one of my favorite appetizers around... the Spicy Sopressata with Fresh Ricotta (I usually order two!). In addition to the great food, the atmosphere is perfect and the beer selection is great. They also have one of the best patios for outdoor dining, which is great with a slice of pizza and ice cold beer. This is definitely a great place for a casual night out and I highly recommend trying Kitchen Zinc.

The service was great, drinks were top notch. The chefs made the most delicious food... And the service was beyond quick too! Best pizza too!!

Meh.. Came out of a late concert hungry and on foot in the cold. Saw something that said they were the freshest pizza in New Haven. They had a lot of funky modern ingredients but you won't find a basic margherita pizza here. We opted to make our own pepperoni only to learn they don't have pepperoni. We went with the gal's recommendation (sopresseta) on half and just cheese on the other. Neither of us cared for the meat but what was worse was that the grease on the pizza's surface was arguably thicker than the crust. Pretty pricey...desserts sounded interesting but our server mentioned that they were very small so we skipped it at $8. In general they had friendly service and It seemed to draw a young hip crowd on a Friday night (no quiet dinner here).
