My friends and I went for a bite to eat there last night. The place has definitely undergone many changes through the years but the quality of the food and competitive pricing has not changed. I had the pepperoni pizza which is a large meal for one person but a good plate to share. All of their pizzas are reasonably priced, and they have quite the variety of both red and white pies. Drinks were reasonably priced as well. The restaurant can be quite crowded but that is a testament to its popularity more than anything else. I will definitely be returning.

chopped pasta salad was amazing! we walked in the bar side and ordered take out through the bartender, was approximately ten minute wait and costs about $23-$25 for two salads. the salads were fairly large, enough for two meals per salad and we had chicken added to our salad. the dressing which was a house balsamic (creamy white balsamic dressing) was delicious and lucky for us we later found out the dressing was on the side which was great since we were delayed few hours after ordering due to work. we decided to try this place in lieu of the chopped pasta salad from pizza works in old saybrook because we were rarely able to get to pizza works during their open hours and I have to say I am glad we gave it a shot. will definitely be going back, didn't have much interaction with the staff since we ordered than waited outside however the little we did the bartender seemed pleasant and acknowledged us as soon as we entered. thumbs up , totally recommend !! tons of parking in rear of the building too!

After years of hearing about how good the pizza is at the Recovery Room I finally made it there. I must the pizza is very good. My favorite thing I had that night was their raviolis. They were unbelievable!!! There is a bar and plenty of seating in the restaurant. Definitely should be on your short list of places to try. Nice job RR!

New ownership has really settled well. Same great menu with some new additions and tweaks. Same great bar staff but with a more relaxed attitude. Everyone seems happy and, believe it or not, the great food actually seems to have improved.

Excellent good. This was a take out order. The Anti oasta salad was delicious and varied from the mundane. Great dressing. Got three servings from it. Pizza was g good according to daughter.
