Food was tasty but service was a little slow at the bar. It's not to say that I wouldn't go again but mostly there's just nothing that special about it. The cocktails are delicious, as was the mac and cheese. Definitely a good happy hour spot or first date spot. Decor inside is simple but well done.

Went here for dinner with a friend on a Friday night. We ordered drinks and an appetizer, and then gave the waiter our entree order. Within 10 minutes, EVERYTHING came out at once. Not sure how I feel about them having two fish dishes prepared in 10 minutes...anyway, service was incredibly slow, the branzino was in a dark-colored broth that added no flavor, and the best thing about the dinner were the fries and my glass of wine. If I ever returned, it would be for happy hour. There are much better places in this area for dinner. Would not recommend.

Divine! A group of 10-15 of us went and everything ordered was very flavorful. Service was very attentive. I don't think there is a point in sharing specifically what we ordered which was probably half the menu including appetizers and entrees because it was all shared and delicious. Enjoy

My boyfriend and I were visiting DC from out of state over the weekend and had the chance to try Lincoln for the first time. We had actually won a package which included a gift certificate to this restaurant so we had quite a bit we were able to spend on our meal that we otherwise wouldn't have been able to. We were informed that most patrons order 2 or 3 plates for dinner, as they are "small plates". We ordered the Parker House Rolls which came with gingerbread butter and were amazing. We both got the mac & cheese which was served in a small skillet, and was one of the best mac & cheese's I've had. My boyfriend purchased a salad which was quite a large size, and the 8oz filet which was cooked perfectly to his liking (medium rare). I ordered the chicken pot pie which was generously filled with chicken, and the sweet potato risotto which was AMAZING! For desert we ordered the Peanut and Jelly which was like a deconstructed PB&J sandwich - great idea but missed a bit on the execution. Our drinks were fabulous and very unique. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Food is served on a rolling basis so it doesn't come out as appetizer, main course, etc. - it comes out hot and fresh as it's ready. The seating is the only thing that throws me off a bit as there are many individual tables, but we were seated where there was a long booth on one end and a chair on the opposite side, so it's a bit too close for comfort to my liking. Overall though, this restaurant was amazing and one of the best meals we have ever had. I'm grateful we had the opportunity to visit Lincoln and appreciate the passion they put into their food and establishment.

The Lincoln is great, especially for brunch. That is really the only time the family and I go. The made to order waffles are phenomenal. The environment is great as well, which is what kept drawing us back. The staff is very friendly and talkative, which I like. I would highly recommend Lincoln if you are looking for a great brunch spot in DC.
