Two stars for DC - 3 stars on an absolute scale. Pretty underwhelming for the price. The quality was about on par with an airport restaurant - by no means the worst meal I’ve had, but not better than something from a university cafeteria. The service was good enough, but not outstanding. I’m honesty a little surprised this place stays in business in the DuPont Circle area given all the high quality brunch restaurants in the area. The ambiance was also underwhelming. It felt like a cheap diner you’d expect in a less urban area. Not much cheaper than other bottomless brunch, but the difference is tangible.

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed. The food is pretty good; the make your own omelets are great! The boozy brunch option is one of the best bang for your buck boozy brunches around. They kept bringing us more mimosas without us even asking (and they were STRONG!). They also have a free fruit bar that takes away some of the guilt of drinking on a Sunday morning...

The food was very good and appropriately sized portions. It all came out together and didn't take too long. There was no bread served during the wait, a missed opportunity to have kept our littlest one in her highchair. They were out of a few menu items too. Our table was ready when we arrived. We had booked on OpenTable and they had even called the night before to confirm it. While the casual vibe was a good find since we had two kids and a toddler, the employees choice of clothing, occasional flies and attention to floor/wall cleaning were below average. There is no changing table available in either restroom, just a ledge that we used. The two servers literally looked like they had just left the gym (tiny running shorts, a beer themed tank top and hair pulled on top with a headband). Listening to the way they communicated with each other was in hushed squabling like siblings rather than professional supportive discussion. They were always polite to us. There were house flies, but it was one of the first nights of the warm season and the outdoor patio was open. They never landed on the food. The floors and walls are very worn and aged; carpet worn down and paint chipping off. Finally when I was wiping up some spilled water from my child's seat before left, the thick paper napkin got much dirtier than I would expect from day to day sitting. Overall this is a average restaurant. It served the purpose of providing a good meal for our group of six, and our kids left happy. But if I had a choice in the area for another casual American style food full-service restaurant, I would not come here again.

An average brunch experience in the district. This is a decent option for an impromptu brunch that includes a complimentary fruit bar. However the service is slow and the food is average.
