Disappointing experience. From the get go, even though we insisted our third person was just minutes away, we were denied seating until everyone in our party arrived. I get that that's the policy, but it's a very stingy one. From there, the service remained poor. After seating and pouring us water, we didn't see the waitress for 10-15 minutes. It was someone else that asked us how we were doing and he ended up taking the order. The food tasted fine but the portion sizes were small. The "for the table" section is basically a bunch of appetizers with entree prices. Even the $14 tacos only include two tacos. And the drinks came in tall, thin glasses. I think this was the first time I've ever spent more than $100 at a restaurant and left feeling somewhat hungry (we ordered 5 items). In summary: poor service, good food, but way overpriced. You'll get a better bang for your buck almost anywhere else.

Tacos were excellent, although portions were a bit small for the price (for example, in my order of 2 shrimp tacos, there were 4 shrimp total). Service was also slow, despite it being a less busy time. Would try eating here again, as many of the small plates looked delicious.

Short version: Experience/Service=excellent, Decor/ambiance=Excellent, Food/Drink=Superb. We had lived here a 1 and 1/2 years before we tried it. I'm sorry we waited so long. From the moment we were greeted, the level of quality was clear. The host was super friendly and our reserved table was ready. Our large table ordered kind of family style, so we got to try many things; some were great, some were outstanding. Nothing bad period! I never had an empty glass the whole night, service was excellent. Love the sangria! Then the next morning I realized I had lost my keys. I called the restaurant and left a message, thinking I wouldn't hear back from them. They called back within 3 minutes, yes 3 minutes, and said they had my keys and were glad that they were able to get them back to the owner. Wow! Will definitely be going back here many times. Kudos to the staff and owners for such a well run establishment.

Due to it being Margarita week we thought we would try this restaurant out. It had some really good reviews. We went there after work today. When we first got there it wasn't clear what we needed to do. Also our bartender was a bit snotty. Our bartender was a female. The only reason I bring this up is because later there was a male bartender there. The female bartender was not that friendly or helpful. I was willing to overlook this however my two companions were not. So after drinking the margaritas we ordered we left. We had planned to have dinner there. (I must say however that the margarita was very good that she made. I just didn't love demeanor.) So we ended up googling a nearby highly rated restaurant that was really cool and the food was really good there. And the people there were really great too. It's a shame that they lost our business; it really does matter how your employees act. I don't plan to give them a second try. The experience just really turn me off.

Best brunch in DC, hands down! While it is easy to compliment their food and drinks k selection because it is absolutely amazing, my favorite part is always the service. Every server engages in conversation with you, laughs with you and ensure that your time there is memorable!
