The servers were friendly and accommodating, and the prices were great. However, my party was extremely disappointed with the chef's selection of brunch dishes for their Mother's Day menu. Our appetizers were outstanding, but many of my party got grits with their meals and we all found them to be well, gritty and undercooked. My sister had the salad and was the only one satisfied with her selection. She did however, have to request her grilled chicken strips several times. I would like to give it a try with their regular menu one day perhaps, as the menu online looked appealing.

Best restaurant/pub in Dover. It’s only place I’ve found that offers tasty health conscious options in Dover; comparable to good city pubs. I’m happy to pay at the cost of comparable city pubs to eat good food. It’s worth it! The staff & patrons were also friendly & welcoming. Keep it up!

The atmosphere is very inviting. I love that the owners didn't do much to the interior. The charm of a 150 year old house makes the environment that much more enjoyable. The food is delicious...presented in such a way that you feel like you're in a VERY upscale establishment. The condiments served on side plates with napkins underneath is a very classy touch. The staff are very friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place. I recently had the Open Faced French Dip Cheese Steak and when I tell you it was loaded with flavor, that's an understatement. The food is fresh and served beautifully. This is the kind of place that Dover needed.... :)

Their pickle fries and loaded tater tots are fantastic. There's a dollar off all scotch, whiskeys, and bourbons special on Saturdays. Two televisions at the bar, and they will change the channel when asked. Nice, but pretty chatty bartenders. Patio with public parking nearby.

Food was good, drinks were good, but nothing special and it was a little pricey. We had the pretzels with Fordham cheese (awesome cheese, but frozen from the bag pretzels), Texas burger (their signature thin patties were not special, but the sauce was good), and the NY strip (cooked well and flavorful, as were the sauteed carrots and parsnips). The best part was having dinner in such a historical home.
