Rooney's is a surprisingly good restaurant during the day and one of the more likely bars at night. The food is listed as Irish but it's conventional tavern fare. I personally like their flat breads. Everyone I have gone with has seemed happy with their food. The bar gets pretty busy at night. They have the standard selections for a bar in a college town they actually have a dancefloor and a couple bar games but most people just stay by the bars. They have an outdoor area but that's more popular during the day Thursdays are pitcher nights and St. Patrick's day is nuts

Disappointing food, slow staff. The one in the city of Wilmington is better. My food was not warm

Upbeat tavern, good pub fare & drinks. Some items are not that great, the soups & salads in particular. The burgers & wings are good though

St Patricks Day always pop'n but bouncers will throw shade if you are not white. Bouncers will throw you out if make a smart comment back at them. Yes! Back at them!! White privilege. Avoid at all cost! Or keep your head down if your not white! Should hire people with brains not bronze.

Visited for wine and dine. It's a nice place. The tacos were lacking but the Shepard's pie was really quite good. This being an Irish place, the latter is what counts.
