My wife and I enjoyed our tradition of a seasonal dinner out last night at the Green Room and were absolutely delighted. Being as picky as possible, I can't find anything to pick. The presentation and quality of each course was an experience of surprise and delight, and the environment and service could not have been better. The wine list was extensive with a wide range of costs with many excellent small vineyard choices. Plus what fun to be at the very lively Hotel DuPont with all the seasonal activity.

Excellent as always. A great wine and great wine recommendation from the staff. Each dish was excellent with non competing flavors.

A great place for any special occasion or for fine dinning. We had dinner and breakfast here and it was great food and service.

If you're interested in going, make sure not to trust the dining reservation website. I did, and it said it was booked solid for days before and after when I wanted. I looked, and they had a room special that guaranteed reservations (At an outrageous price, but I was that desperate to take someone there). When I checked in, I got a letter and my voucher that claimed we would get a "TASTING" which sent my invitee into a tizzy. She was looking forward to what the website and my confirmation said... 4 courses from the menu. Turned out when we got there for the mandatory 8pm seating (I guess they put you in before they close) they were ok with the regular menu. We got there to only about 4 other tables occupied, it was pretty much E-M-P-T-Y. We had 2 different servers asking us if we wanted water/drinks/etc and offering to take our order which was a bit confusing. My own fault, the chair was clearly broken as soon as I sat down, but as not to embarass my date I dealt with it the entire meal. During the meal we noticed a mouse running around. Before we could tell someone about it we noticed another couple following its movement and reported it to a server. He seemed to go "oh my" and then offered to take their picture. A manager came around and asked us how things were, and seemed to say "Good, Good" and leave after we also mentioned the mouse. When it came time for dessert, we were told that it was too late for the tableside Bananas Foster which she had really wanted. Hotel itself was nice, but never going to go there again (Value wasn't there with the room package either).

My boyfriend set up a reservation to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. Having it at the Green Room was especially one of the most important details of our anniversary because we met at the Hotel DuPont. So when we placed our reservation for January 30th 2018 on November 3rd 2017 we thought we were ahead of the game. But 2 days ago I get a call from a young lady telling us we had to change the date of our reservation because they were hosting a private party that night. Now I know this restaurant doesn't get many reservations as it is, so WHY couldn't they make that dinner for another night? The young lady offered us to eat in their cafe with the Green Room menu.. that was very insulting we are not going to spend over $100 on a nice meal to eat in there crappy cafe. Management didn't seem to care about anything. Never coming back that place is slowly dying there's a reason the DuPonts didn't want it anymore.
