I went to Brio on Sunday morning for brunch with a few friends that were in town. Michael was our server and he did a great job! He helped us navigate the menu. The calamari he suggested was fabulous. Not overcooked and greasy like at other places. Lunch was just as good and the best part, the manager Will bought my friends and I a dessert after learning that it was their first time. I’m so happy with my experience and look forward to returning!

Brio has great food but I will never go to this location again. I’ll stick to the Plantation, FL location where they provide way better customer service and actually care about their customers! My friend and I went to the Hallandale location last Saturday, 3/17 and we were told there was about an hour wait so we left and came back and were called by one of the hostesses. Her superior, a Hispanic woman (didn’t get her name), told her to wait and take another party instead although they came in as a walk in AFTER us!! Clearly she knew them or just thought they were more deserving to be seated before us. Horrible customer service! We spoke to the manager who actually knew this happened (I’m assuming they do this all the time) and he seated us at a table and gave us a free appetizer. Sorry sir, that does not make up for your horrible customer service! The staff there needs to be better trained on quality customer service or reprimanded!

First of all, I love the food Brio offers and I always have great experience when I go there. It is the first time I ever have a complaint with their service before I was even before being seated. Since my father is in town, I would like to take him to one of my favorite restaurants for a nice dinner. When I was trying to put my name down on the waiting list and asked the hostess how many people were in front of me.. she asked “who are You?” With an attitude. I said I was trying to see how many people are a head of us so I can see if we should wait for 1 hour. The hostess said, “as a matter of fact, we already have 137 reservations and we are not taking any name down”. I was just surprised how can any restaurant have someone like that as a hostess. UPDATE: After someone left a comment on google suggested I should email them and someone will contact me. NO ONE EVER CONTACT ME. It is very very disappointing. Thank you for the comment, but just to let all the reviewers to know. NO ONE EVER CONTACTED me.

The food was excellent. Will, the manager was super nice..I had a balloon for my niece's birthday that flew away and Will got on a ladder and retrieved it for me and he made sure my party and I were satisfied. Great atmosphere and every restaurant shoulder have a manager like Will..we will definitely be back

Be forewarned, do not go to the Hallandale branch on weekends. They are too busy. Food was warm not hot. Service slow. Manager no where around. Only reason I give 3 stars is because during the week (and we go once a week) it gets 5 stars! Manager during the week oversees everything. Food is hot and delish. Servers are on top of the orders and quick to refill drinks and check on table.
