The best Thai restaurant for over 100 miles in any direction. If you're on the beach, don't be afraid to make the drive. Totally worth it. I've dined there 4 times, and the food is ALWAYS fresh and excellent. Don't waste your time going to any of the other Thai restaurants in the area. Friendly, attentive service. Though it features a wide-ranging menu, it is still easy to order from, and doesn't make you feel like you don't know what to order. THIS IS NOT A CHAIN. This is a family owned and operated restaurant, and you can tell when you eat the food. I've never had anything to say on Crab Rangoon before, but the Rangoon at Thailand Restaurant are truly amazing. As if excellent food and service isn't enough, it makes you feel good about spending your money here when the owner leaves the kitchen to come out and walk the dining room to personally assure that your meal is excellent.

Thailand Restaurant is the only place in Panama City that my wife and I call ourselves regulars at. If we're not cooking at home or at a friend's this is the only place you'll find us. It's hard to say if their food or their service is better so let me start by saying, if you like Thai cuisine, you'll never be disappointed. I don't like using absolutes, especially in public forum, but I think it's fair to say that this is the friendliest staff I've ever seen in a restaurant. I don't mean the "I'm-wearing-a-bunch-of-flare-to-show-you-how-accommodating-I-am-and-giggle-at-everything-you-say-because-I-have-to-in-order-to-keep-this-job" kind of friendliness that feels stale. I'm talking about the staff becoming your friends, learning your name, and feeling genuinely happy when you walk in the door. Enjoy!

Excellent authentic Thai food. Portions are large...even the Thai tea. Prices are very reasonable. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area:)
