Can say enough positive things about Zappi’s. We went last night to celebrate our 50th anniversary and they didn’t disappoint. The staff is amazing, from the manager to everyone who stopped by to wish us well. Especially our server, Annie, who by the way, thought she was giving me a rough time but she is great. She made us feel welcome and we really appreciated that. If anyone wants an enjoyable evening go to Zappi’s for a fun time. Oh, great food too, I don’t want to forget that part. The outdoor area is a great spot to kick back and relax. Thank all of you guys at Zappi’s and you too ANNIE

Waited over 25 minutes for our salad and an hour plus for our food. Wasn't anywhere near busy enough for the kitchen to be THAT backed up. Food is average, service leaves much to be desired. After 2 decent experiences, the last few leave much to be desired. What happened to you guys since fall? Half interested employees, non attentive management. Would like to support this place having moved here from Chicago, but hard to do so after last couple of visits. Hope things get back on track. Update: 'free' dessert never offered...wasn't about to wait another hour for dessert. Knowing we were waiting forever for everything throughout the night, and itching to get out of there, it probably would have been wise to not just drop the check and go ahead and take the credit card right then and there. Instead, another 5 minute wait for server to come back and run the card. The "manager" was more concerned about lighting candles (skipping our table, after direct eye contact) than getting her kitchen in order. Complete fail.

Found this place while looking for lunch during visit to Daytona last week. Person who seated us was not friendly but our server was great! We ordered side salads and a white pizza with tomatoes. Salads were fresh and tasty although the key lime vinaigrette was a bit bland. We could tell that the pizza was made fresh to order and tasted good, perhaps a bit salty for our taste. We still enjoyed it and took the rest home. The restaurant and patio area were beautiful. We ate indoors due to impending rain and it was pretty empty. We enjoyed our visit overall.

It was my last night of vacation in Daytona and I happened into Zappi's almost by accident and am I glad I did. The restaurant was pretty empty as it was early and I was alone; sometimes that's a bad combination. In this case I hit the jackpot because my waitress Max made me the most important person in the place. The food was delicious, absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared but in all honesty it paled in comparison to the service. If you should go to Zappi's I would highly recommend asking for Max...you won't be sorry. This is a 5 star joint.

My husband and I just left Zappi’s and everything was amazing! The food was to die for and our waitress Meghan was top notch! She was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and so friendly! When we come back to Daytona in the future, we will be sure to visit Zappi’s again and definitely ask for Meghan!
