Had to wait 20 minutes for a simple order at the pick up window while all the attention and service was given to the drive up traffic. When I asked how much longer for my order, the worker slammed the sliding window closed and locked it. Will never go back there again.

This place is a great answer to a need for a quick reasonably priced lunch downtown Deland. You can order off the Value menu and do even better. The hot dogs are really good for a buck a piece. Some folks may not love the fries but I do. Yeah they are a little greasy, but what the heck, drink a diet coke Also, we can sit under the umbrellas and watch the folks on Woodland. Try the shakes cause they really are old fashioned good.

I went here a few weeks ago and my experience was great! There was one young woman working both drive thru windows and the walk up windows. She immediately greeted me and ask me if I could wait a moment and I told her no rush at all to take her time and get caught up. Before that day I was feeling really sick (kidney infection which can cause fevers and confusion) but that day I felt a lot better and it was beautiful so I walked to the Walgreens (ten minute walk from my house) to get more medicine and stopped at checkers. When I was waiting for the cashier to get caught up, I felt very dizzy and tried to keep my cool. I grabbed onto the counter under the window for support and one of the cooks noticed me. He helped me to a table, took my order from me and when my food was ready he brought it out. I got an Uber back home, but I just wanted to review this in hopes someone in charge will see this. I’m not elderly, I’m only in my 20s. He could have easily written me off as day drunk and rolled his eyes, but he genuinely tried to help me. He was maybe late 20s or early 30s, he was a cook, lighter hair, a bit short. I wish I remembered his name. Please someone give him a promotion lol. He deserves it!

The service was slow. Everyone seemed to have something more important to do. The food was not good. I would not eat there again.

An extremely cheap, yet good place if you want to eat. Not only is the service fast, the employees are truly helpful. There really isn't much to go on about this place. Just know that if you want to have a full wallet and a full stomach, then go to this place.
